After finishing her Bachelor of Nursing degree at the University of Calgary in 2014, Aya returned to school to study 3000 hours of Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy at MaKami College, graduating in 2018. She has a diverse range of techniques and specializes in Sciatica treatment. Every massage is customized, whether it be deep tissue, relaxation, or a combination to achieve the needs and goals of the individual. She has a genuine desire to help others and is always eager to expand her knowledge. Aya has attended workshops for Advanced Orthopedic Massage and RAPID Neurofascial Reset Upper and Lower Body, and is skilled in Hot Stone Massage and Myofascial Cupping. Over the years, Aya has helped individuals with concussion recovery, recovery from strains and sprains, reduction of muscle tension and stress, and scar tissue breakdown to improve mobility. She has worked with NHL athletes, soccer athletes, and stunt performers to help their bodies recover. When she is not working she is enjoying sunshine and playing with her two cats. She enjoys travelling to Japan to see her family.
